May 15: Asking Bear Live! (Virtual Event)

EDIT/CORRECTION: The graphic lists the showtime for the United States Eastern Time Zone at 8:00 pm, it starts at 7pm Chicago time. The ticket link and Zoom email you’ll get have the correct timing. Sorry about that!

Hello, Team Awkward!

On Sunday, May 15 I’ll be joining fellow advice-giver and friend-of-blog S. Bear Bergman and bookstore friends Women and Children First for a virtual event where we answer audience questions.

Event Description:

Building on Bear’s popular advice column, Asking Bear (askingbear.com) and his acclaimed new book, SPECIAL TOPICS IN BEING A HUMAN (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2021), Bear and special guest Jennifer of CaptainAwkward.com will take your questions on all matters from the sacred to the profane and give our opinion on how you should proceed. Funny, tender, and surprisingly helpful, Asking Bear Live! is a fun and novel way to place your difficult conundrums into the caring and capable hands of one of Canada’s beloved advice givers. 7 pm Chicago Time, tickets are $10 or PWYC (“Pay What You Can”) on Crowdcast: register for the show at this link!

Event Flyer for Asking Bear Live! Event - all the info on the flyer is also in the text of the post.

Bear is delightful and his book is a treasure. I hope I’ll see some of your faces very soon!
