Hello everyone! I hope you are all feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after a December break from meetups and are now prepared to return with Conversation and Opinions! In a little over a week we shall reconvene!
When: Sunday, January 27th, 2019 (!), 10 am
Where: Harvard Art Museum Cafe
32 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA 02138
The closest T stop is Harvard, on the red line. The museum is about a ten-minute walk across the Harvard yard from the station.
Venue: The cafe is located in the atrium of the art museum. You do not have to pay the entrance fee to sit in the cafe area. The cafe has a small selection of pastries and other snacks, but if you have specific dietary requirements you may need to bring your own food. The building is accessible via a ramp on Prescott Street.
How to find us: I will claim a table and set up a paper sign. I will have my knitting and/or a painting project. I have coloring sheets, but you can also bring coloring sheets! Coloring sheets for everyone!
What to bring: Crayons, colored pencils, paints, coloring books, a puzzle, a delicate sense of hope, winter self-care tips for mammoths and giant ground sloths.
If you need more information, you can inquire on the “Boston” thread at FOCA.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
I’m putting this in my calendar. Worth noting: the museum opens/doors are unlocked at 10, so if you get there even slightly early you may be waiting outside in the cold for a few minutes.
Honestly, it hasn’t really been an issue thus far — even if I get there right at 10, no one else does, so I still have plenty of time to mosey in, get my coffee, and set up the table.
Alas, Sunday mornings often don’t work for me. Sorry to miss you all again!
The meetup has commenced!
