NUMBER ELEVEN. We are coming up on one year of meetups, friends!
Please note: certain important details of this meetup are DIFFERENT than has previously been the case! You have my advance apologies that this meetup is not going to be the most convenient for all, but it is what I can manage with my current work schedule. If you’d like to organize a meetup at a less weird time, please mosey toward the forums and let the people know!
NOTE: a mistake was made in scheduling previously. Location has been changed to reflect that.
When: SUNDAY, September 30th, 2018, 10 am
Where: Harvard Art Museum Cafe
32 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA 02138
The closest T stop is Harvard, on the red line. The museum is about a ten-minute walk across the Harvard yard from the station.
Venue: The cafe is located in the atrium of the art museum. You do not have to pay the entrance fee to sit in the cafe area. The cafe has a small selection of pastries and other snacks, but if you have specific dietary requirements you may need to bring your own food. The building is accessible via a ramp on Prescott Street.
How to find us: I will claim a table and set up a paper sign. I will have my knitting and/or a painting project. I SHALL ENDEAVOR TO GET SOME COLORING SHEETS THIS TIME. And crayons. Yeah, crayons!
What to bring: Crayons, paints, coloring sheets, a puzzle, thoughts on the historical evolution of small cakes, interesting stories about mummies.
If you need more information, you can inquire on the “Boston” thread at FOCA.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
I thought the cafe (and the library) didn’t open until 1pm on Sundays – has that changed?
You are correct! Correction incoming!
Got it – thanks as always for coordinating 🙂
One day I will actually manage to make it to one of these.
Sorry to be a bother here, but I don’t have a login for FOCA. Could the update get posted here when it’s settled? Thanks for doing the planning, Jane!
Hey Hellianne — the update was when it was changed from BPL to Harvard Art Museum. The meetups are planned on FOCA, but they’re also posted here.
I am here! I have my sign and coloring books!
