Hi Captain and Co!

We in the rainy city are looking to have a meetup on 11/14 from 11am-1pm at Cafe Mox in Ballard. The menu has many options, including vegetarian and vegan, it’s accessible, and it has a bunch of board games and fun things!

I will aim to either arrive at the cafe early to get some spots or, depending on the interest, call ahead and reserve some space. I’ll also have neon green signs on the table saying “Capt. Awkward Meetup” and I’ll get sticker nametags for people to use if they wish.

I know this is a bit last minute, but I’d love to have this featured on the main Capt. Awkward blog, and it’s also been discussed at the Capt. Awkward forums.

  2. *falls on knees and flings arms to the sky with fists* NOOOO! Why is this the first I’m hearing of a Seattle meetup? And why is it the one day in all the days in the next three months that I am out of town!?!

    Is there somewhere I should be paying attention to to get the lowdown on future Seattle meetups?

      More seriously, I might be able to make it out but don’t save me a seat, Shannon. I’ve had to adult for the last few weekend, and I might just play hermit the whole weekend to recharge for the upcoming holiday.
