  1. Does it count as a holiday if you’re a musician and it means you’re working?

After the service, I plan on celebrating Easter by coming home, taking a nap, cooking some pasta, and watching “Singin in the Rain” for the first time. I am thinking of it as an “alternative liberal hippie atheist Easter.”

Sadly I cannot celebrate new Who as I am still several seasons behind! Must remedy that this summer…

    1. For the record, if you’re a musician or any other professional (like me) that doesn’t get automatic holidays/weekends, I still think that counts. 🙂 Actually, it counts extra.

      1. OMG, that was totally one of the best moments, you are absolutely right. 🙂

  2. This is my first Easter where I will not be celebrating… conflicting thoughts on Easter and Christianity. Way too anger-inducing. Woo.

Instead I will cook stilton and walnut pie for myself, go a bike ride and do some sewing. 🙂

    1. I’m definitely way more into the Doctor Who than the Risen Lord. Don’t tell my mom.

I hope it’s a great weekend. I wish I knew how to sew!

      1. 😀 it’s going well so far. Yours? Sewing hints: sewing blogs, patience, practice. *sigh* sewing takes ages and my projects go weeks, nay, months, with not a single stitch added!

        1. I’ve got a sinus infection, so not the Best Day Ever, but the Dr. Who was top-notch.
